The Partnership

We partnered closely with Marty to transform NinjaTrader into a modern, integrated trading platform. Together, we:

Built sales and marketing functions

We augmented a largely organic customer acquisition strategy with a scalable and efficient sales and marketing engine. We also revamped the brand to reflect a modern platform.

Modernized the product experience via M&A

In 2020, we acquired TransAct Futures to become a non-clearing FCM, allowing the company to own the full customer onboarding process and increase margins. A year later, in 2021, we acquired Tradovate to add web and mobile trading capabilities and accelerate the overall product roadmap.

We were instrumental in helping NinjaTrader source and execute these transactions and develop in-house M&A capabilities for future acquisitions.

Expanded globally to Europe, South America, and Asia

We focused on increasing international conversion rates by adding local language sales / support staff, and localizing user manuals for multiple regions.

Strengthened the executive team and board

We recruited Tobin McDaniel (President; ex-SoFi Invest), John O'Reilly (CMO; ex-OptionHouse), and Adi Nishander (CTO, ex-Carta) to the executive team. We also recruited industry veterans Salo Sredni (Board; ex-TradeStation CEO) and Barry Mazza (ex-DriveWealth CTO) to the board.

Improved customer experience and conversion

We streamlined the onboarding process from over 15 minutes to under 4 minutes, which contributed to strong growth in new funded accounts.

Optimized pricing

We implemented pricing adjustments, from lifetime software purchases to a subscription model, and launched a B2B subscription business.
